Non-profit association and foundation
Perlenschatz, a non-profit association and a foundation, is building a refuge for girls and women affected by psychological, physical and/or sexual violence or threatened by forced marriage or “honor killing”.
The association Perlenschatz was founded on September 13, 2014 by 22 founding members. Its registered office is in Solms. The Perlenschatz Foundation was approved by the Regierungspräsidium in Giessen on April 16, 2018. The board of directors of the association and the foundation are identical and work mainly on a voluntary basis.
